Only two weeks after Harvey wrecked havoc on the U.S. supply chain, another hurricane is quickly approaching the South Atlantic states. Hurricane Irma's imminent threat has prompted LTL and TL carriers, railway companies, ports and airports to begin restricting logistics operations. Some carriers do not have updates available on the web. Therefore, our team has compiled the latest operational information below. 

Carrier Operational Status
A. Duie Pyle  In anticipation of Hurricane Irma’s impact on Florida, our Partner, Southeastern Freight Lines (SEFL) is currently unable to pick up or deliver shipments serviced by their Jacksonville, Ocala, Tampa, Orlando, Ft. Myers, Miami, Ft Lauderdale and West Palm Beach service centers. Other operations may be impacted as cities respond to local and federal evacuations and as SEFL manages the safety of their employees. If you have freight moving to or from this region and have questions, please contact our Customer Service department at 1−800−523−5020.−523−5020.
AAA Cooper Based on the current weather information and evacuation orders, the facilities listed below will begin remain closed today, September 8, 2017. 
Jacksonville, 32209; Ocala, 34474; Orlando, 32824; Tampa, 33637; Ft Myers, 33905; Ft Pierce, 34951; Pompano, 33069; Miami, 33178. All of the Florida terminals have stopped accepting pickups. No freight will be moving into or out of Florida at this time.
ABF No Freight going into Florida.

Fort Myers, Miami and West Palm Beach - CLOSED
Orlando - OPEN, with limited service
Savannah - CLOSING EARLY - Due to mandatory evacuation notices, our Savannah service center will be closing early this afternoon. 
There will be no pickup and delivery services in DaytonaDaytona Beach, RockledgeEdgewater, New Smyrna Beach, Melbourne, Melbourne Beach, Meritt Island, Vero Beach, Cocoa, Cocoa Beach, Sebastian, Palm Bay or Titusville today. 

Bailey's Express Not a service area.
Bryan Truck Lines Not a service area.
Central Freight Lines Shutting down operations Friday, September 8. Reopening is TBD.
Central Transport No freight going into Florida.
Dayton Freight Lines Our Partner, Southeastern Freight Lines has reported that the Puerto Rico Service Center is closed due to Hurricane Irma. Effective Thursday September, 7, an embargo is in effect for Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Due to the severity of the storm, no pickups will be accepted for shipments that are destined for one of these service centers.
Dorhn Transfer Company Not a service area.
Estes Express Due to the size and strength of the storm, all pickups for freight destined for Florida are suspended. Any line-haul in or out of Florida has also been suspended. Service between Puerto Rico and the U.S. mainland is also suspended and will be off schedule for several weeks to come. For additional information regarding specific Puerto Rico shipments, please contact your local Estes terminal.
FedEx Freight FedEx will be prepared to provide service to the best of our ability in areas affected by the storm and as local conditions allow. To help avoid delays, we encourage you to contact your recipients to verify whether their location is open or able to receive deliveries
Hercules Freight Not a service area.
New England Motor Freight  Not a service area. No embargo on interline freight. 
New Penn Motor Express  New Penn will continue to pick up and consolidate Puerto Rico shipments as normal this week. Shipping lanes out of New Jersey are open and we will be sailing as usual this weekend to Puerto Rico. Assessment of the situation in Puerto Rico will dictate delivery to the island tomorrow Friday.  No further updated provided. 
Old Dominion  Embargo in place for all pick-ups destined for the zip codes serviced by MIA, POM and WPB TPA. Each of these service centers are operating today to make as many deliveries as possible. A list of the impacted zip codes will soon be available for download on the OD website.
PACE Not a service area.
Pitt Ohio Interlining to Averitt.
R&L Carriers Embargo on all freight in and out of Florida and surrounding major markets.
Rist Transport Not a service area.
Roadrunner Not picking up freight making deliveries for shipments serviced by Miami, Orlando and Jacksonville. Terminals are closed until further notice. Please be advised that linehaul, pickups and deliveries in these areas are all impacted causing delays. 
Ross Not a service area
SAIA Fort Myers, Miami and West Palm Beach terminals are closed and due to the mandatory evacuations, freight is embargoed. 
Severence  Not a service area.
South Eastern Freight Lines All Florida service centers are preparing for the possibility of major storm effects. Other states, such as South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia may be in the path as well. Due to the mandatory evacuations in Florida, we are currently unable to pick up or deliver shipments serviced by Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Miami, Ocala, Orlando, Puerto Rico, Tampa and West Palm Beach. We will be evaluating these service areas daily and making adjustments to the service points. 
UPS No pickups or deliveries in southern Florida today.
US Freightways No freight going into Florida.
Volpe Not a service area.
Volunteer Not a service area.
Ward  Ward has implemented an embargo on shipments to Miami, Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach starting immediately. This embargo will remain in effect until further notice. We will keep you updated regarding this situation and any other potential locations that will be included as the path of the storm is more clear.
