On February 26, 2019, Walmart revealed changes to their On-Time In Full (OTIF) requirements to suppliers at the Walmart Supplier Summit. Our Retail Consolidation team at Prime Distribution Services, An Ascent Global Logistics Company, would like to share details of Walmart’s new OTIF update highlighted during this year’s Walmart Supplier Summit.
Beginning May 2019, Walmart will change the OTIF measurement to a review of On-Time case performance separate from In-Full case performance.
In-Full Goals
Food Consumables = 97.5 percent
General Merch H&W (non-food) = 95 percent
On-Time Goals
Prepaid Full Truckload = 87 percent
Prepaid LTL = 70 percent
Collect goal = 95 percent
In addition, Walmart announced two important dates to mark on your calendars:
- Starting March 2019: Training resources will become available in advance of the update’s launch through the Supplier Academy section of Retail Link.
- Starting May 2019: The updated program will launch for suppliers accompanied by OTIF Dashboard enhancements.
The team at Prime continuously strives to exceed Walmart’s performance goals by providing best-in-class service to our customers.
